Stop/Start
Ghost Immobilisers stop vehicles being stolen by blocking the engine from starting until it is issued the correct PIN code. This is done without modifying the vehicle, and is not detected by thieves. The unit is directly connected to the ECU via the CAN databus to lock a vehicle. This is similar to the one used by car makers for years. However, thieves cannot bypass it with a new key, or key relay technology, like they can with factory-installed systems.
A Ghost can be fitted to any van, car motorhome, caravan, or bike with an engine and is compatible with all the popular brands of vehicles. The same system is also compatible with electric vehicles. When the Ghost is activated, it will stop all buttons in your car and stop the ignition from starting without a PIN number. This can be accomplished using the Android or Apple mobile apps or by manually entering the code using your key fob. If a code that is incorrectly entered the app will show an indicator light and the Ghost will not allow the vehicle to start again. This is a great method to deter thieves. If the vehicle cannot be started the thieves will be able to move on.
